According to AMC, all past seasons of The Walking Dead will stream for free on Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, VIZIO WatchFree+, IMDb TV, XUMO, Plex, and Sling TV. Update: Here's my review of tonight's Fear premiere. The good news is that there are plenty of ways to stream the first ten seasons. Let me know what you thought of the Season 8 finale, and whether or not you're taking my advice and checking out Fear The Walking Dead on Twitter and Facebook.
And be sure to watch Fear The Walking Dead. My review for that show's Season 4 premiere will go live soon as well. In the meantime, let me know what you think. I'll have another post up talking about the season as a whole and what went wrong (and how they can avoid those problems in Season 9 by reading and taking my advice!) up tomorrow. More than anything, I'm just glad this season is over (though I'll miss writing about it and hearing all of your thoughts.) It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't much else either. No tension, no surprise, not much to really write home about. And that's fine, setting up next season is fine, but the season finale itself was pretty lackluster overall. And that might be the better outcome.īut that's just setup. I thought it would have been really cool to have him killed off in a surprise twist, but on the other hand keeping him alive creates interesting character conflicts between our heroes. I'm a little torn on the question of Negan dying vs not dying. It just drags out way too long and the writers and producers aren't skilled enough at their craft to make sure the plot stays interesting the whole time. This is partly the problem with having 16 episodes in a season. We had way too many battles leading up to this and each one took the air out of this one's sails. Just nothing that surprising or interesting, either. for Season 9.Īndrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes in a memory of Carl.
Wow, what if both Cohan and Danai Gurira move on to greener pastures? If Lauren Cohan sticks around and doesn't jump ship for a different show. It was fine, I guess, but felt really out of place.
